Della Foundation adopted the Z.P. school in Lonavala, impacting more than 220 underprivileged children. In 2014, MBA students from NYU Stern School of Business studied how Della Resorts affects local communities in Lonavala.

Della Townships India Laboratories investigate challenges that could shape future cities, including a collaboration with IIT Madras on microalgae-based carbon sequestration and work on turning landfill waste into construction materials.

Community service
Jimmy Mistry founded the NGO Parsee Resource Group and served as an elected trustee of the Bombay Parsee Panchayat. In 2020 he was honoured by the Governor of Maharashtra and the Bhamla Foundation for COVID-19 relief work.
